The Iron Vulture is a MASSIVE airship, with room enough for a pirate crew of between 30-50 (it's hard to tell), and between ten and twenty small fighter planes. It's outfitted with some twenty-odd cannons, too.
Somewhere buried in the ship there is also a lightning gun that Karnage won't remember about, powered by a very special type of crystal (which will be conveniently...somewhere else on the ship, that he also forgot). Being so big, the ship is hardly very maneuverable, so that lightning gun is difficult to use, at best. Especially for a pirate captain without his crew.
